Kam I is perfect for walking, building sand castles, lounging, reading, sunbathing or watching whales in season. If the ocean calls, you can swim, ride the surf, boogie board or snorkel.
Even cooking is fun here. The view from the kitchen can't be beat and with the open floor plan, the cook is never alone in the kitchen. Corian counter tops, tumbled marble floors, new small appliances, Frankoma pottery and Madeira glasses; this kitchen is functional and lovely. An electric grill is privided for the lanai.

The second bedroom is borrowed from one end of the spacious living room Hawaiian style by linked Japanese Shoji panels. There is a bronze and clear mirrored palm tree on the face of the murphy style bed and mirrored walls to reflect the ocean view. When not in use as a bedroom, we use the space as a dining room.
When enclosed the bedroom contains its own set of sliding glass doors with access to the lanai and gorgeous beach/ocean views. There are new shoji screens on the closet and the wall bed has excellent quality mattress and box springs as well as built-in cabinets with reading lights and electric plugs for radios, clocks, etc.

Exit the bedroom through the hall door and the second bathroom with granite countertop is immediately adjacent.

The spacious master bedroom is really a suite. It has a king size bed with down pillows and lush linens. An extra closet and dresser are found here too.
Increasing the feel and size of the space is a small private lanai with waterfall and Koi pond - beautifully landscaped and perfect for quiet reflection.
The dressing area includes a sink with granite countertop and large closet. The bathroom has a tiled walk-in shower.

Kamaole One, located ocean front in south Maui's active resort community of Kihei just north of Wailea, offers a prime, quiet ocean front location within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping, the public library and Kamaole I and II beach parks with in-line hockey (beach side), volleyball, ocean kayaking, war canoe paddle lessons, etc.

The desk is at the end of the kitchen counter. It gives computer or work space and uses a bar chair.
A dressing area, separating the bedroom from the bath, has a granite vanity with under the counter sink, dark cherry cabinets and a wonderfully large closet.
The bath and walk in shower feature 12" tile with a slate look floor to ceiling .
